Support Workers – Mental Health
Weekend Staff & Night Shifts Available

Pukeko Blue Ltd has a proud reputation in delivering consistently high standards of care for our Service Users in an environment of respect, dignity, compassion, safety and skill.  We currently require new staff to fill roles in our expanding company.

For both positions applicants need to have the following:

 

  • Full, current drivers licence.
  • Understanding of mental illness and disability.
  • Previous experience in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • The flexibility to work rotational rostered shifts.
  • Applicants will need to have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.

The key responsibilities for these positions include:

  • Assisting service users in completing daily tasks.
  • Encouraging independence and autonomy with each Service User.
  • Providing support in leisure and community activities.
